BritGrad 2026: Where to Stay in Stratford-upon-Avon

If you’re planning to attend BritGrad 2026 in person and are starting to think about accommodation, you’re in the right place.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a relatively small town, but it has a lot going on - especially in June. With the Royal Shakespeare Company hosting major productions (including The Tempest starring Sir Kenneth Branagh), accommodation can book up quickly. We strongly recommend securing your stay sooner rather than later.

There are plenty of options available, from budget-friendly hotels and hostels to boutique and higher-end stays. It’s also worth checking platforms such as:

Some platforms (like Hotels.com) offer student discounts, and it’s often worth checking hotel websites directly (for example, Premier Inn) for the best rates. Stratford also has a wide range of local B&B’s and guesthouses, so do explore those options too.The Shakespeare Institute is a 13-minute walk from the train station. It may be worth considering staying in Warwick, Leamington-Spa, Stratford-Upon-Avon Parkway, Solihull, or Birmingham - all of which are a train ride away. Although a longer option in terms of travel time, these towns tend to provide slightly cheaper options while still being conveniently located to Stratford.
